The Woodcutting skill rewards players for chopping wood. It grants double drops (Harvest Lumber), triple drops (Clean Cuts), instant leaf destruction (Leaf Blower), an active ability to fell entire trees (Tree Feller), and sapling or vanilla XP orb drops during Tree Feller (Knock on Wood).

XP is earned by breaking log, wood, and a few related blocks with an axe. Per-block XP values are configured in experience.yml under Experience_Values.Woodcutting. The default values are listed below.

Leaf blocks broken via Leaf Blower do not grant Woodcutting XP. Only logs, wood, and the blocks above grant XP.

Harvest Lumber is a passive sub-skill that grants a chance to receive a double drop of the wood you break. The chance scales linearly from 0% at level 0 to 100% at level 1000.

Clean Cuts is a passive sub-skill that grants a chance to receive a triple drop of the wood you break. It rolls independently from Harvest Lumber; if Clean Cuts procs, the player receives two bonus logs (for three total). If Harvest Lumber procs but Clean Cuts does not, the player receives one bonus log (for two total).
The chance scales linearly from 0% at level 0 to 50% at level 10,000.

Leaf Blower allows players to instantly break leaf blocks and other non-wood tree parts (such as bee nests, shroomlights, and similar) while holding an axe. No XP is awarded for leaf blocks.

Tree Feller is an active ability that must be armed by right-clicking with an axe while not looking at a block. When active, breaking any log block causes the entire connected tree (all attached logs and non-wood tree parts) to be felled at once. XP is awarded for each log block removed.
Tree Feller causes extra durability damage to the axe proportional to the number of blocks felled. If the axe would break during Tree Feller, it splinters at the first block and Tree Feller is cancelled.
Higher ranks increase the maximum number of blocks that can be felled in one use (the tree feller threshold is also configurable in config.yml).
